Day 25: 40 Love

Here's a poem that uses structure and subject matter in an ingenious way to get its theme across. Read it and see. From the witty and wisecracking Roger McGough.

  8. I believe this poem is a true example of how far humans have progressed as a whole from the renaissance era we are now able to transcend what has previously been considered unimaginable. The depth and meaning invoked within these words makes me quiver with delight, and want to hug my children.

    Yours truly,

    1. I concur with your statement Franzino,

This poem is a true masterpiece, and one that i feel rivals those of the great William Shakeyspeare. i Find relevance and simple beauty within the letters and wpuld highly recommend it to any aspiring poet as an example of the pinnacle of poemism.

      Splendid regards,

      Alberto Fitzgerald
